Thanks to Holly for explaining to me how to do this. Computers overwhelm me. Which is why I have the most basic background with no added ANYTHING because I get stressed, click the X, then head over to Pinterest and laugh at all the dumb things people try and make myself feel better at others expense. STOP JUDGING.
Anyway, I already had to text Holly and she is probably thinking "why does this girl even own a computer??".... I don't know either, Holly.
Here we go...
1. What do you look forward to more: the food, football or parades?
I look forward to the FOOD the most. Mainly the pumpkin pie. And more importantly MY pumpkin pie. I am totally tooting my own horn when I say that I make the best pumpkin pie. As if you need more proof than just my word for it, you can read my post about my pumpkin pie here. I also just love cooking and sharing that time with the people I love. I would love to go to Culinary School one day. I have no idea what I would do with that... but I know I would love it.
2. What is your favorite non-traditional Thanksgiving Day dish?
We do Thanksgiving with Jonathan's family and I can't think of a non-traditional dish that we make there. But I can say that the Turkey is not the "star" for me... I love the Dressing & Stuffing. You can keep your turkey.
3. After dinner, is it football or a nap?
Definitely a NAP... while my husband yells at the T.V. Usually I've been helping with the cooking all day so I'm pretty tired. I can't wait to snuggle up with my Hazel and nap this year :)
4. Do you watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade? Which is your favorite float?
Yes, we usually have the Thanksgiving parade on while we are cooking! I don't really have a favorite but I do love when Santa comes
5. Where do you go to celebrate and eat your big meal? Who is there (family, friends)?
Jonathan, Hazel, and I go to Jonathan's family's Thanksgiving in Augusta, Georgia. We have gone there since Jonathan and I started dating. My family is more of a Christmas family ever since my grandparents retired and moved to Gulf Shores, AL. They don't come back for Thanksgiving so our family is all over the place. I really enjoy going to Augusta and being with Jonathan's family and they really get to see and interact with Hazel. She loves being around them and we do too. I am so lucky to have such welcoming and loving in-laws! (& I'm not just saying that... I don't think they even read my blog.)
6. What is your favorite turkey day dessert?

6. What is your favorite turkey day dessert?
I kind of talked about this at the beginning. I am a pumpkin pie fan. This year I am making a pumpkin pie and a pumpkin cake with a cheesecake middle layer. I am going to try this recipe. I think it will be so yummy! Pumpkin and cheesecake together? I die.
So glad you joined Holly and me for our link up! And glad she was able to help you out, she's a gem and has answered all of my annoying q's over the last few months. She probably wants to block me from her blog by now. :) Happy Tgiving!
